Methanol injection.

Has anyone tried methanol injection on these motors? I just remembered my cousin and I used to mess around with old beetles and turbo charged them. Only instead of plumbing a turbo, we installed a cheap meth kit. Possible alternative?

Theory and principle is the same, just don't have the sprayer aiming into the turbo (it can turn into a hydrocutter and carve grooves into the compressor wheel). Really needs to be tapped into the manifold with high pressure fittings so nothing gets blown out.
