Looking to drop my truck a couple more inches. I'm thinking monolift in back and heating front coils. Any ides I'm kinda low on money ATM though. I know all bout drop spindles and stuff but trying to keep as much in my pocket as possible.

Dont heat the coil springs.....just cut a coil or two if u like. Then get some 3-4 inch blocks for the rear and take out the middle leaf. There's a good write up here on cutting coils.

I second what crvtec90 says....heating the coils takes away the strength/temperment. And it make for a worse ride....i know this from experience....just get some shorter shocks and or relocate the ones you got if needed...

You want to cut 1 coil off. Just use a sawzall. Avoid heat as much as possible.

i would aim at 2 coils but do as camoit says....cut 1 then slap it all together and see what you think....1 is like very mild. 2'' i believe.

cut the bump stops in half or you will be on them after you drop it.

Looks like it sits nice and flat. And won't hit the concrete bumpers with the front.

The last pic of the white truck is just about how a truck would sit with only drop coils in the front

Hey man! hate to bring back a dead thread but ive been searching the forums to see if i can find a solution to my problem and im hoping you can help. I also have the beltec lowering kit for my 92 MM rear is finished but as for the front i am having a hard time finishing the install it seems like the shocks are maybe the incorrect ones but i cant get the top to go in fully and get the lca to bolt back up. Did you have to take out the whole LCA like the ball joint then work from there? any advice would be helpful, thank you!
