Under the dash right side. Pull the evaporator and hoses. They come out through the cab as 1 unit. Don't cut the lines if you can avoid it.

Also pull the heater A/C controls and the temp control module from the dash, as well as the condensor in front of the rad. The module may be mounted to the evaporator box under the dash, or the back of the glovebox or firewall - it depended on who put the A/C in. All these trucks had the A/C installed either dockside or dealer with a kit that was factory sourced, to comply with American content laws. 2nd gen kits were either Frigette or Lone Star.

Ok, I pulled it out, But how about wiring, the guy is putting it in a Non A/C 1987 Ram 50 4x4, Are all the connectors there for him to just connect the evap core, condensor, compressor .Etc, without me pulling my wiring harness apart? Will it connect straight to the blower, or are they different? I have every relay and the A/C switch pulled, so he can just pop them in.

I would have to look for the install instructions I had from my Dads 88 ram 50 - give me a day or so to find them. I know on a first gen it has an addin harness that splices into the main harness.
