1988 ram50 build

Ok,I have read a couple post about swapping a 2.6 for a 4m40. But I've yet to find someone that actually did it. The post usually ends up going somewhere else. I just bought a 1988 ram50 4x4 2.6 w/auto. On Ebay there are a couple 4m40 for sale,also 4d34 as well. Anyone ever seen one,here one or know if it has been done. Oh yeah,motor is toast and already pulled out for me.

You would need the V6 Mighty Max for the 4m40 swap. The 4d55/4d56 bolts up to the 2.6 wide block.
I jist swapped the 4d55 into my 1987 Ram50, and it bolted right up to the bellhousing. Josh
