Do the 2.4's have a temperature switch? i see 3 going into the thermostat housing, but it seems they are all "sensors" and not open/closed switches. I plan on hard wiring on a key hot until i figure it out. Just didn't want to add more switches/sensors if i don't need to. Any help is appreciated:)

1. Does anyone know if i can tap any of these to for an open/closed circuit?
2. What are all these for? (i figured one is for the gauge and another for the computer, not sure what the 3rd is for...
3. Is there a wire in the computer i can use as a source?

Take a look at this https://www.flex-a-lite.com/electric-fans.html
Several of those fans come with an adjustable thermostatic controller. There are other brands of fan and thermostatic switches you can attach to the fins to control whatever fan you may already have.

clutch fans work very well. What's the problem ?

You're gonna b adding relay/fuse/wiring anyway with an electric fan.... so what's a sensor wire ?

once u find the appropriate spot somewhere along the cooling route, u can screw in some oem or aftermarket fan sensor with a pre-set temperature

I've used this simple type of adj sensor before http://www.amazon.com/dp/B01E52O5DG ~$15 back then
probe was either radiator fin type or clamped into top radiator hose. Worked well

Hayden also used to make an adj sensor/relay kit for dual fans.
Main fan came on 1st, 2nd fan at higher temp or with AC compressor. Worked excellent. $30. Don't c em anymore tho

Fan clutch was broken and electric fan i got was only $10 more than a replacement clutch.

Also, i just wanted to something to my truck

Just to close this out....

i was able to replace the sensor in the first pic with a temp switch since my ac switch is broken and i had to bypass it a while ago. Electric fan works great after upgrading my alternator to one out of a Mitsubishi van.
