Hey y'all. I'm new here, Wanted to show off my new truck. Maybe even learn a thing or 2 while i'm here. These are pics of my new 1993 mighty max sport. 2.4 5spd 90k miles. Also a couple of my old 96 Nissan d21. Couple ?s for you guys. I have my seat brackets. What buckets sit low & line up relatively close to the factory brackets? Also any tire guys. Less sidewall! looks like 205/60s even out h/w. Not rubberbands just a sportier look. Thanks for having me.24274242752427624277

i would go onto a tire size calculator and find a factory height or something really close, and cool around with the aspect ratio, width and rim size and find what you like! I like the factory look on my 87, but I needed something a bit wider. I went .5" wider tire and 3" offset (sits under fender well perfect) and it looks alright. it had like 215 75 15 or 225 75 15 factory tires, 225 is an odd size so it is probably a 225, given they had some other odd measurements. mine is gonna get turned into a SRT4 moniker with the turbo system off a conquest/starion and a friend is going turbo with the turbo parts of a 2.2/2.5 LeBaron. I have done some work today to finish my engine swap, check out my thread called 'first truck 15 years old'
here is the 87 power ram 50:

Hi and welcome to mightyram. Your truck looks nice and straight. You're not going to find a 'perfect' seat for your MM but it's nothing you can't fix with some steel plate, a handful of nuts and bolts and a drill to adapt frame rails. I'm using old Peugeot 306Xsi seats in my Gen 1 and they are hell low to the cab floor. The drivers seat has the added bonus of height adjust. You can use 60 profile tires but they may look tiny on the truck, especially with stock ride height.
The perfect swat for the mighty max 2nd gen are 1st gen montero bucket seats. They have a huge bracket that lifts them up in the monty but it can be removed. Use 2 bench seat bracket sets to mount them both without any drilling of holes or fabrication simply remove bench seat brackets then replace the monty brackets with the mighty max ones and bolt in. Your truck already has provisons for them i will post a pic. One sec.

i like my bench seats, but I would try a set of 80's Dodge Dakota seats, I think some of them had buckets. and if that doesn't work you can go get a seat and a second adjusting rail and get to cutting and welding. i like the bench for the fact I can put a mini console in it and it'll work. plus i aint looking to haul every family member in my family, I am looking to haul me and a friend. if I need to fit 2 people one can fit in the back, or the console can fit there too. depends on if I am going on a 5 mile trip or a 50 mile trip. I would be weary of keeping my fenders clean, mine are rusted out on one side and its starting on the other. its real thin sheet metal so it uses easy and dents just as easy, and forget fixing a dent.

Motha- check out your DM's. Sent you a link to a cheap '91 2wd MM that could be a good parts truck, and might be near you.

A member using Jack O'Neil character as his avatar posted some pics of a swap from a I want to say Dakota. I can't think of his name but it should come up if you search bucket seats on the site.

i tried to find him with no luck, I did find out that pretty much any bucket seats in the montero/raider will work, and even Acura integera/honda civic seats will work with some modification

Been a little busy with some other stuff. Did get my new radio in. $30-40 off wish. Works good. Tucking the wires for the 6x9s my buddy hooked me up with tomorrow. Riding in my brother's cadillac brougham the other day i found my answer. It's gonna be bucket seats from a north star. Trick from the tri5 guys. I'll make it work. Thanks all for responding.
