Here is some kind of mount on the floor of my truck under the driver's seat. Did something used to go here, maybe a tool kit? Anyone know? All my spare tire changing tools are mounted down there in their own spots (I think) so this other mount is curious .....

It was the factory tool kit. There's meant to be a thick rubber band that stretches between the floor hooks to strap the kit down.

... or a toilet paper roll - out of sight so they don't break my window

Interesting. Anyone care to share a picture of an OEM unit?

Maybe check a motorcycle salvage yard and find something close. It looks a lot like my Kawasaki tool kits. Most never get used at all.

^if you can get a genuine one even if it's old or a bit beat up, they're better than the new repro jack handles and cranks. A lot of them are pressed hollow tube - garbage...

Mine is original and in great shape! It still has its orange and the bar is still looking good with few chips in the paint and that Jack still has the sticker. Best part about it is it will be a factory replacement. My truck was kept very clean and the interior is immaculate. So it's a clean slate for making a Sport II truck. I dont want (or need) the jack, so again DM me and I'll get some pics asap and we will negotiate a price

I made this myself. It's just a standard tube and some 1/8 sheet metal tabs welded on. It is in oen of my threads from last summer. Tortron gave me the measurements and I made it. It works great.
