Finally got tired of the gas gauge which either read "F" on a fillup, or sank to "E" after 50 miles. Ran out of gas in the dark, on a rainy night, on top of a freeway bridge. That was enough. Installed the sender I bought in 2002 to fix the problem "some day".
Sure nice to have a fuel gauge that works accurately!
