3rd brake light rehab

Has anyone every opened one of these up? Is the lens glued? After I removed the topper that was on my newly acquired MM I noticed the light didn't work, come to find out 2 bulbs are loose and rolling around inside. Can you find replacement bulbs for the board?

I'm pretty sure you could open them up the same way people do with headlight assemblies. It's complicated and you could end up melting the whole thing down. If it were me, I would just find a cheap light about the same size, solder the old connector on it and Bob's yer uncle.
