View Full Version : Roller Rocker assembly?

I've seen people post about them, so I know they must exist. Replacing my jet-valve head with a NIB stock (though port/polished) head this coming weekend. Oil in my #1 and #4 tells me the thing is likely cracked and the kid that did the first rebuild was a kinda flakey pothead (friend of a friend kind of thing, I got what I deserved).

Head is coming with valve towers, but no rocker assembly or cam. Which is fine, I CAN re-use the old one, but...I'd like to see about these rollers. After I break the head and can mic the bore, gonna call up Oregon Cam to see about something more appropriate to my setup, as well.

So! Anyone have a link/supplier?

Edit:

Err, might help- 86' 2.6l

The ticket for the hydro roller rockers is a set from a 3.0 l Mitsu motor - look under starion / conquest listings. If you go that route, be sure to tell the cam grinder that you are using roller rockers and the ratio is 1.6 instead of 1.5 to prevent valves smacking the pistons.

Okay, looking. Thanks for the ratio tip!

Not finding a listing at any of the chain parts stores, got a couple aces in the hole, but not til Monday.

Anyone have a reliable source for these bad-boys? Would be GREATLY appreciated.

First is for new, second is for used - the first also lists what motors you could find them on in the junkyards

Found em! Discount Import Parts here in Oregon, $18 a piece, and it appears intake/exhaust are common? Seems odd, but whatever.
