Here is some pics of the setup in the rear with the 4 link together
Running the exhaust through the cross member like that is awesome, great work! Those are nice wheels too I have one of them on my isuzu.
is your muffler under the cab? or ya going without? Mine is under the bed but i think im moving it to the cab underside...this looks great..keep going..
Payrion: We want it to be as quite as possible in the cab so at this point I am unsure where its going..I think it going in the rear =)
LethalEthan: Thanks it took a while to drill threw the steel and we friedone of my drills .. smoking and everything lol..
the muffler will be fine either way as long as the exhaust dumps outside the body not under the a floor. My first build I just dumped the exhaust after the muffler and at 60-70mph in OD the thing droned like a Mo-Fo under the bed so bad I had to take it out of OD after 10 minutes of driving. My current build the exhaust will dump out the sides of the box just in front of the rear wheels. The mufflers are under the cab floor and are Dynomax Ultra flows and all I hear is the exhaust at the tips.

Yeah ..,my exhaust exits under the bed instead of out from underneath the truck. It gets a ill annoying. Its actually louder riding in the cab then if u stood next to it.
Workin on a body drop right now myself and tryin to decide were to cut on the fire wall at. What made you choose were you did? Had you seen someone else do it right there? Is there ganna be a space issue with the brake booster? Your interior is great for your first time!!! Project is lookin good to. For my tranny cross member I cut the nuts of the back and used a 1/8" or 3/16 in plate with bolts weled flush then just welded 1 1/2' square to it and used stock mounting bracket, then just tighten the nuts down on top of mounts almost like stock but not welded on. Good luck, and keep up the good thjread!
The firewall was planned by staring at it for about an hour or so and figured the cuts we made were the best spot for when the cab fell the sheetmetal would line up the best. As for the steering and brake booster part buy cutting it where we did the booster stayed in the same location as did the steering box hole. Also kept the gas pedal mounts and almost everything important on the drivers side stayed where it needed. However with z'ing the frame for the engine craddle the steering box hole will have to move up the amount of the z but I'll still have space between that and the brake booster. Thats a good idea for the trans member but sense I have to drop the motor the reverse about of the z for the stock hood clearance I'm just gonna fab up an entirely new trans crossmember. I already have the steel for it in the garage.
Here is more pics of progress
The frame is 12" from the ground and can fit a 27" tire

What is the easiest way off dropping or lowering the engine a 1.5"? Also what is the easiest way to z the frame an all this with the body still on the frame and the engine in place? Should we just pull the motor and tranny to do all this? Does anyone have a picture or a link thread that could help?
I've z mine and have pics but I need a minute to find what file/location there in to share. Yes pull the motor and trany. By z-ing it u raise the motor and can cut the motor mounts off and lower them. I'm lowering mine bout 5/8 but also notched and reinforced the crossmeber. Here is my custom compared to stock.
You could always use spacers between the trany X member and frame. Some DOM tubing and longer bolts.
