    disassemble Side Mirrors

So I bought a cool set of Harley mirrors and I'm trying to install them, but I don't know how to disassemble the mirrors. I know there's a nut that holds the mirror to the bracket, but after taking it off, I can't seem to pull it apart. Am I missing something?

No thats all there is to take off is the nut on the bottom and they should come off, that s all I had to do to put mazda mirrors on.

So I should just force it out? I don't want to break them. I'll try it again tomorrow.

Pop the black trim ring off holding the mirror and take off the mirror also and look and see whats holding it up.

Sometimes the stud is rusted on the pivot.
