Has anybody had any issues with their trucks from using Ethanol Gas ??? I know that it messed up a set of spark plugs after only 34,000 miles[Double Platinum],and it does not have good accleration anymore

You can thank you government for screwing things up. It sucks. Avoid it if you can. You burn more, buy more, pay more, just to go less.

Buy a jug of Sta-Bil Marine. Bout an ounce per tank kills the ethenol. Adds a few cents per tank, but not as much as buying ethenol-free gas.
in older gas tanks the ethanol will break up the rust and varnish in the tank and steel lines then clog the filter and carb. It will also eat older rubber fuel lines. Also like Camoit said it ends up making you lose power and you need to burn more to go the same distance as a regular tank of gas.
Flex fuel cars/trucks this is not a problem as they are made to except E-85
second on the sta-bil marine - all I run in everything to negate the ethanol attack.

is sta-bil the same as sta-bil marine???
No, they have 3 different varieties. Normal for just preservation, Marine for killing ethanol and preservation, and diesel.
Stuff you want is blue.
Seems they also have just ethanol treatment..unsure if it's for engines that run on alcohol, or what.
Anyway, here's the link:

the regular ethanol treatment is too expensive for regular use - 8 - 10 for a bottle to treat 1 tank full vs 10 to treat 120 gallons with the marine ethanol treatment, and the gas will last for 1 year.
