Was out at the wreckers today and there was an older Toyota 4x4 with a straight front axle in it with leaf springs it looks like something like that would be an easy swap under the D50/MM frame and it would give a 3-4inch lift.Then go find or have a set of rear leaf's made with the same lift.If you have a welder and some time it probably would work.
I had both a straight axle Toyota and my D50 at the same time, It would work well as the frame is near the same width on both trucks, but the diff on the Toyota is on the opposite side of a D50, unless you could find a Tcase or bellhousing adapter that would bolt up, you would still be stuck with 2wd lol
