hope you have a front bumper for the 84 - the 83-86 are the toughest to find front bumpers for. Welcome to the forum.

kewl, camoit......................^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Yup, you're right penntman, those first gen's are hard to come by.
I have the bumper and grille installed, finally found one in the local pick-a-part, that was whole. Tried to get the whole thing, but, they wouldn't sell it to me. Darn thing was in good shape too, not even wrecked.
So I got the window crank, door handle, inside mirror, and other misc stuff. He!!, if i tried to gather all the parts off that thing, just to protect, I'd have a couple 1000 bux tied up.
I'm really looking for some other wheels at a decent price. For both.
kewl............................not seen too many myself.
I've seen like 3 but the 2 were still driveable the third was in a scrapyard which makes me so upset cause it was whole it was in the mouth being crushed and we asked them to stop and move it to the side cause the cab was no good at this point but I couldve used other things off of it and the guy was like okay then yhe next day I went back it was gone
Welcome to the site, lots of good info and people on here.
There is a complete 1980 d50, still has the original wheels and hub caps on it.
They have a big sign at entrance, "Do not sell entire vehicles, so don't ask". It's a U-Pull-It type jy.
So, I got a few parts off it, now I can crank my window up and down and open the drivers door from the inside.
Kewl..........................now, all I need is to find a decent 2.4l FI engine for the MM.
Hey, thatnks for the welcome drop.
I've also seen a couple of these trucks sitting in peeps yards.
I've been tempted to stop and see what their intentions are with them.
Ones a 1st gen d50, looks like mine with the 4 headlights.
The others a long bed 2nd gen dodge or MM.
Both are parked in such a way that I know they aren't gonna be driven any time soon.
I'd really like to do the engine swap, and lower these things a little, and definitely, go with some different wheels.
I've always thought of getting rid of these trucks, but since I found this forum, I've renewed my interest in them.
They are so easy to work on, and I've had this d50 since 96, paid 175 bux for the body, new engine thru pep boys 1100 bux, i think. Been driving it ever since.
Bought the MM 500 bux (blown Hd gasket) when I hit a deer with the d50, changed the hd gasket, idles perfect, buts spits and sputters and lacks power.
Compression checks on all, but failed the leak down on #2, and thats the plug that fouls. Plus the keyway at the harmonic balancer, wallowed out, thats why I'm looking for another engine.
