Cable Clutch routing
Just to be safe I want to confirm something, Im replacing the clutch on my old 94 max for the new owner, the cable has a lot of play on it, I need a pic of the way it sites from the firewall down to the transmition. I would appreciate it a lot. It is adjustable, and I have done that as well, just want to make sure its not something simple. thanks. Its a 1994 mighty max with a 2.4L and annual trans.

Thanks, thats what I was thinking it was. There is no resistance at all on the cable or the pedal after I installed the new clutch. Just trying to basic troubleshoot before I remove everything and look at the tranny and clutch again.

Other than the flywheel being attached to the transmition?

The bellhousing shield or the oil on the frame.

I figured you were just checking some clearance thing. So the correct answer would have been the broken bolts in the flywheel.

Yeah it threw me off at first, cause it almost looks normal. Lol. Yikes I say.
On topic I did not find anything abnormal with the clutch or anything else when I took it back off. So last night I re-installed it and adjusted the cable alot, and I now have pressure on the entire pedal. I have not drive it yet, got a couple more bolts to finish tightening, but I think it was the problem. Ill know for sure when I drive it tonight or tomarrow.
One last question, the trans gear oil, 85-90w, the approx amount I need? I cant DL that file from the link LSR mike posted.

Thanks, and its all better. Works like a champ. Just needed a good adjustment. Maybe if I ever redo it I may go with a better clutch and a hydrolic set up.
