I bought a 1990 Ram 50 and have spent the last 2 months trying to make it presentable. 2.4 litre base model with standard transmission. Have done ... all brakes, clutch, windshield, patched rust, spayed liner into box and doing backyard paint job. My frustration is about (1) lifters - hydraulic or adjustable ? (2) Drivers headlight adjustment screw and frame - need one badly (3) wheels are 6 bolt 14" - where can I buy some cheap ? I really like the truck, no A/C but it is fun to drive and so handy. Help please.

Welcome to the site. Rockauto.com has the hydraulic lash adjusters you are looking for. As for the head light bucket your best bet is to hit up the junk yards. The left and right are the same on the second gens.

2.4 runs hydraulic lifters and they like to rub the tops off the lifters and cause noise. Make sure your manifold isn't cracked causing a tap/tick also. Being a 90 it wouldn't be a bad idea to change em. Try getting wheels from a hardbody or toyota pickup. I've got some OEM 14"s from a 94 Nissan pickup and they're chrome steel. I plan to put em on my first gen when it's done.

You want other 14" wheels or just other wheels in general? Other mitsubshi 6 lgs will fit, older isuzu 6 lugs, toyota, and some older nissan as well. Junk yars are great for old wheel selections!
