What year? I might be able to get some information from my Mitsubishi ASA program. Need 87 or newer.
This is the part number for the retainer ring around gearshift boot for 2WD & 4WD - MA181285
You can plug this number in online in a google search and it will locate the rings and show images somewhere out there for verification.

its coming from a 1990 and this is what im talking about, this is for a 4x2 but if i remove the black bezel thing will it fit my 4x4? sorry about the watermark it was the best picture i could find. console.jpg

This perticular center console (picured above in the first few posts) will not work for your 4wd truck, the opening is too small and removing the black plastic trim will not work. you need to get a 4wd console (pictured below) from a second gen. They are VERY hard to find and rare. Good luck.

i know this is a long shot but do you still have a 2wd center console? i just bought one and it turns out its a 4wd
Where can I find a 4wd center console? My interiors are brown. What's the part number?
I'd build one. Make a shell for it out of stiff cardboard and lay cotton/polyester fleece over it with fiberglass resin. Then you can get interesting with it - custom gauge mount, switch panel, drink holder. As it is I'm toying with the idea of making a custom grill and maybe an engine bay insert. Will be a bit more involved than a console though...
