Thanks for the welcome! No worries on the approval I thought it was just standard on this site. Been on others where it was. Seems like a good grip of information on here. An seems like a good group of truck owners. Looking forward to learning everything about my mini truck

Welcome and nice truck, always loved that goldish color. Any plans for mods to the truck?
Welcome, and yes, nice looking truck, and I also like that color.....................
It looks strangely familiar...

I assume I've been on the forum long enough to be in a position to welcome you, Kylem. I hail from California, myself, though I have not lived there since 1983.
And in all honesty, had my truck not been that gold color, I likely would not have been attracted to it (and bought it). As a "west" person, it's good Feng Shui.

Welcome. Looks like a clean truck.
Thanks everyone. I like the color too was that a factory gold/green? As far as mods idk yet haven't gotten that far. I been looking around the forums tho gathering ideas. My first plan of attack is my tach and oil pressure guages don't work. Was thinking it can be wiring but haven't got that far yet. I might end up with aftermarket ones but I do want to try and keep the guages and inside fairly stock, crossing fingers I can fix my guages or find new old stock. I love this little truck. Something about driving it makes it fun

Welcome Kylem !
As others have said, Nice Truck !
And there's Plenty of technical help here to assist you with getting your gauges to work.
I would bet money it's a wiring issue.
(LOL, royster said "Fung Shui")
Check this thread for a possible solution to the tach working; http://www.mightyram50.net/vbulletin...er-not-working
I knew daredevils and I ain't got nothin' against them, ........it's just they're all dead.
Nice truck, have you had the instrument cluster off to see if gauges are connected? About four screws and it is off. I know the tach cable doesn't have much extra length so it's easy to leave it disconnected. Oil pressure sensor is right next to your oil filter and could be disconnected at either end. Good luck!

Perhaps the oil sending unit quit working, or it may have too much oil on it. That happens on accassion. As was the case with my parts truck, the wire had disconnected altogether: the wire broke off.
If you do end up pulling the dash cluster out, by all means take the time to clean it real good. That will make a huge difference for your night driving. As you pull the cluster out, the speedometer cable has a very simple release with plenty of room to get your hand in there. A couple of harnesses and you have the cluster. AND you get to keep any money you find back there! You need to report anything over $600.00, though.
While it's out, it's a good time to replace any burned-out bulbs...John McPhearson comes to mind (he's a pretty burned-out-bulb)...so you might want to check it at night before you pull it. Make sure the dimmer switch is all the way up to its brightest setting (which John McPhearson is not). Cleaning the clear plastic on the bottom will make the illumination much brighter.
And we ALL know THAT'S good Feng Shui
