    dodge stealth v-6 swap QUESTIONS

does anyone know off hand what transmissions will bolt up if any. i have done a little searching. i can get a complete car for a good price. 140k strip the swap out and make most of my money back off parts and scrapping.

it is fwd and would it be possible to make it posi and just use one of the axle outlets to power my mighty max?

anyone know anything about this car?

    thanks in advance

is this a v6 twin turbo stealth? I've been waiting for someone to do that swap for a long time. But even still the regular dohc should be nice. I believe it's pretty much the same motor so you may be able to use the v6 mightymax trans. Though i'm not sure if all of those were 4wd or not.

I'm pretty sure the wide block MM truck tranny will fit the 3.0 stealth block using the 240 mm clutch setup from the 3.0 truck or starquest tsi. It would be an interesting swap that I thought about many times but that's as far as I got. Even thought about the 3.5 / 3.8 from the 95 up monteros, but no follow through.

I recently put in a 3.0L V6 into my 89 4X4 with a 2.6. Had a donor PU. The 4 cylinder transmissions will not bolt up. The V6 trans was a much bigger trans. Also, be careful with the clutch. The V6 trans has a hydraulic clutch and the 4 bangers have a cable.
