    Looking to swap my 2.6 for a V6 out of a 90 montero any hints or tips?

    Welcome to the site Gator907. It will have to be a 4x4 as there are no easily available RWD V6 transmissions for the 6G7x swap. This means all the drivetrain from your Ram has to be swapped out. Plenty of members here will have helpful advice on what you'll need to know (4x4 isn't my thing...)

    2002-2007 Kia Sorento had an available 5 speed RWD transmission mated to a Hyundai V6. Mitsu/Hyundai is pretty much identical, so if you find one, you can swap a V6 in a 2wd.
