    Need some wheels

I'm in desperate need of some 16" and up rims for my 88 max. It's got some chrome 14" OG wheels on it that have to go! The tires are bad, so what better time to do it. The truck had been lowered about 3". Does anyone have a good wheel and tired combo that won't break the bank and work well with 3" of drop? Anyone got a set with tires they would like to sell? I'm a over the road truck driver and might be able to you and pick them up. If I ever figure out how to upload pictures I will. Just got this pickup yesterday and am really happy with it.

Finally got home and got these mounted and I must admit the tire size I chose was perfect for a 3" drop. I went with 205/55/16's, I also chose to grind down the rear hubs and knock off those tabs on the front. The front was cake, the rear was a bit of work. I did have to go with some 1/4" spacers up front because my wheels where making a bit of contact with the upper control arms. But all and all I'm very happy with the outcome and now I can run any GM 6 lug I want.

I just got 16 inch, gm rims for my truck too. I just need to find a tire size for them. I don't plan on lowering my truck tho. How is the offset on yours. Do they stick out much farther? They look pretty cool tho!

Is that really a 3" drop? I have a Gen 1 which allegedly had a 2.5" drop and you can really notice it (might be the wheels - still running 14" on a slightly lower profile Yokohama truck tyre) Your truck looks sharp but now you need to paint that front bumper skirt!

Old school Panasport two piece with Conti 205/50 and 215/50. Tires have less than 1000 miles.

Do Nissan rims fit the mighty Max without having to modify the rims at all?

depending on year, yes. Older wheels fit with no issues - some newer 6 bolt Nissans are 6 x 4.5 and will not fit at all
