    1988 mighty max 2.0

i went with my friend yesterday to go look at this 1988 mighty max they said it needed a clutch and would sell for $700. i my self have a 95 mighty max that i love and has treated me very well. the motor ran good started right up no leaks but you could see a lil bit of oil on the side of the motor not too much. but the motor ran good. (i am not mutch of a carb. motor guy) the truck had 250*** miles on it when i had him (my buddy) push in the clutch he said it was easy to push. the clutch fork and arm ere still in tack what would be the problom or buying a clutch kit for $150 and resurficing the flywheel fix the problom? please reply asap so we can possibly pick up the truck

That should fix the problem with a bad clutch unless the cable stretched or snapped; Lay beside the truck and have your buddy operate the clutch pedal to see if the arm moves.
