    Wont start

    I put in a new starter but truck still doesnt turn over any ideas or pointers??

    We are going to need more info then that.
    Take a test light and make sure everything has power. Fuse box. starter, fusible links. If you jump the starter with a wire from the + side of the bat to the solenoid does it crank?

    O.k why did you replace the original starter motor? If it just "stopped working" there may be an inherent electrical fault as camoit has listed. Can you hear the main relay kick off when you try to turn the engine over? If you can't hear it there is either a fault from the ignition switch/main power end or the relay is toast. If it does kick off then the fault is from the relay out to the starter. Add to the list a possible faulty ignition switch or a bunch of dirty ground lead connections. Normally a bad ground will cause a weak turn over during cranking the ignition switch but they do cause all kinds of electrical gremlins.
