Custom Towing Brackets for Tow Bar?
Hi All,
Im going to pick up a Mighty Max 4x4 on Saturday, and I would like to know if anyone's figured out a solution to attaching a tow bar to the front frame? I have a harbor freight tow bar, and the two mounting plates should land somewhere on the front frame, but I'm not sure where. Im going to bring a drill and some grade 8 bolts to bolt it all together. Who has a little experience in this department that can guide me? Have you towed MM with a tow bar before?

I have a tow frame/bullbar from a 4x4 in the shed. I'll dig it out and take a photo. It doesn't fit my 2wd so I assume there's some differences.
But this one bolts along the chassis rails and comes out under the bumper (it's shaped like an H) with two points to connect some pins for an A frame attachment.
You might want to just remove the bumper and attach to the mount holes

Tha'ts what I was thinking. There are a few bolt holes that you see when you remove the bumper that could align with a DIY cross bar. That cross bar could be a mount for the tow bar plates. I was thinking of making that cross bar made out of 3" x 3/16 angle. If you have a photo of your set up, Id love to see it.

If you tow these trucks. Remove the drive shaft from the dif or you will burn up the trans input and output shaft.
