1st gen D50 5 speed conversion

Hey everyone, New Dodge D50 owner here. I have a '79 2.0 with a 4 speed manual trans on it. I was looking to do a 5 speed conversion. Anyone know what year dodge/mighty max I'll need to to do the upgrade? also any tips or things to look out for. anything helps and will be appreciated!

Easy. 5 speed transmissions are available in both wide and narrow block mounting patterns. You have the 4G52 2.0?

Honestly, I'm not too sure on which engine i have. i was told the truck is completely stock and its the 2.0 manual. here is a other silly question how i would be able to tell if i have a narrow or wide block mounting pattern?
