    Lowering 4x4

Hey all, new here. Does anybody have a specific kit that they would reccomend for lowering an 89 4x4 d50? Will a standard belltech kit with lowering blocks and springs work for it or do I need something else?

Your front is torsion bars, so you can just crank then back and it will drop. They wont go that far due to the suspensions geometry.

Why not enjoy the added height?

How much do you think it would drop? 2 inches, 1? Just a ballpark estimate. And I’ve always liked lowered mini trucks, but I needed something 4wd for the Colorado winters… if it’s just a torsion bar up front I would just need the blocks for the back right? And shocks

Couple inches, but you would also lose your range of motion. Hitting a bump in the road will become painful if not sketchy if you "slam it".

Honestly your 4x4 is the furthest thing from what you need to live the "low stance" life. Should probably sell it, or mature into it.

It's going to bash on the bump stops and be absolute hell to drive. They aren't built like a Subaru Forester.
