Buddy had this head in his garage it looks like 2.6 g54 type but it has a v belt pulley on the end of the cam shaft? It says Mitsubishi on the valve cover my guess it’s off a mini van maybe any thoughts?

Could it be a 2.0 head the v pulley is confusing but I’ve never messed with a 2.0 ever?
Its probably a G54 cyl head off/out of an late 1983 to late 1987 FWD Dodge Caravan,
Water pump mounted on the flywheel side of the engine, v -belt driven from that pully.
From research I have done the GOOD 2.6l stuff went again to Europe and Aussie land, (Astron II?)
--- fuel injection, roller rockers, comp ratio up by 8/10 of a point, stronger head casting, stronger casting better flowing exhaust manifold .---
Run the #'s on it , would be interesting to id it anyway.
Thanks I’ll drag it out and get a better pic of it no jet valves that I could see. If it’s good I’ll see if a guy could use it if the pulley was removed I’ll line up a head gasket and see what shakes out.
4G54 FWD head. The water pump is remotely mounted at the rear of the block. These engines can throw you for a loop if you are after a long block as there's no water pump provision on the timing cover...
I’ve just have the head can a guy remove the pulley then plug that end and use it on the g54b platform?

It looks like it’s an extra one . I had a rebuilt engine on a stand I was not sure about but it has one on it. Here is a pic I just took of the head and valve cover together. I need to get it tested for cracks to see if it’s good or just a parts head. My neighbors a machine shop guy he can test it or rebuild it if needed.
Don’t see the Distributor drive gear on the cam?
If you plan to use it on a truck, you’ll need to use a cam from a RWD vehicle and a cam plug at the firewall end. The FWD cam is too long. The pulley end may contact the firewall.
Is there a distributor hole? Maybe someone just removed the gear?
I might have another cam I know there is a rocker set out there should be a cam around.

You can see the hole in the photo and a nut on the stud I think it was removed before I got it.
Dropped it off to get checked for cracks sent a stock cam to compare lengths to see if the pulley cam is any different then the regular cam.
Found a couple of new cam end caps in my parts pile so I dropped one off at the machine shop neighbor. Found some head gaskets options the laminate one is around $60 the standard type is $20 if you add a stud kit you can increase the torque by 20 pounds more. Run a thread chaser through the block threads and the one under the breather tube on the valve cover has to be ultra clean for clearance or you will have a mess.
Not selling my gaskets just letting you know what’s out there.
Isn't the pulley just bolted like the cam gear?
