I don't remember if it's behind the starter or not - I don't have the truck any more.

I know it is supposed to be on the side but an up, down, left or right of description would be nice. Going to look behind starter. Not much room to move around under there.

Checking the link in royster's post above, looks like it'd be on the intake side below the starter, so you'd get at it from below the truck or maybe via the wheel arch on that side.

After pan was off I found the bolt hole. It was under the starter, almost touching it at the very front. Tried it before but the piece to insert and hold the shaft has to be real close to 8mm across or it won't catch as with the screwdriver I tried. Ended up using a long drill bit shank end.
    Thank y'all.

Didn't see the link to Royster before but it answers a new question I was going to post. The port to hold the silent shaft does have a bolt plug. Mine didn't when I took things apart and I thought it was strange since it is threaded. God the headaches working after someone else.
Thankful to all that have helped me in this journey.
    Love my baby.
