    Dash Speaker - Dash Access

    Hello,

I've seen a couple of the threads about the size of the speakers but not finding anything on here about how to access the dash speakers. Here is a link to a video of a person accessing the speakers. Is this the only way? Is there a better way?

While I am here. Is this an example of the best way to cut a hole for a pillar speaker?

Not speaker related, but my cab light doesn't work. I have tried new bulbs and nothing happens. Is there a wire diagram that someone can share, please?

    Thanks!

You have to remove the speaker cover to remove the mount screws and speaker. Use a hard plastic trim pry tool to compress the clip at the right rear corner of the cover. Insert it roughly parallel to the dash length. Here's examples of the pry tools:

The plastic tool won't mar the dash surface and it's less likely to bend the speaker cover. Even if the cover gets bent slightly, it's of thin metal so it's easy to straighten. For the cab light, look in the technical, manuals section. There may be a useful wiring diagram in there.
