HERE IT IS FOLKS the LENS: from Amayama the part # is for a Starion trunk light but it's the same as a Gen1 truck interior dome light... Fixed my dome light today, works great...

    You tried Amayama?

    Also try MEGAZIP & yoyopart.com

At wrecking yards look in the rear of any Mitsubishi or Chrysler hatchback car that lens is used there too...

Amayama actually accepted the order, but then told me they were out of stock and refunded my payment. I’ll try the others you suggest. Thanks.

    Thanks for the info!

Mine is still holding up somewhat, but it has a small crack in it.
I've replaced the dead bulb with a 2400k LED bulb that looks exactly like an incandescent in the light output, so hopefully I won't have to disassemble the dome again, because I'm certain it won't survive it.

I could maybe 3D print one if I take some measurements, but it won't look as good.

However, I will be looking for one of these in the meantime.

Nice thread ostlar ~ electronics to pipe fitting & welding nothing stops you huh..! My favorites on your truck are the old style tie down hooks and the tailgate manual latches the rear window guard AND your mods too... The original alternator is 45amps and is it able to power all the sounds & lights..?

Thank you so much for the kind words! And thank you for your contributions to this community, we appreciate it.

Yes the original alternator does the job for daily tasks, but I can hear the belt squeak if all of lights are on, including all four original halogens.
I've disconnected the inner high beam halogens to relieve some power

    Skål from Norway!

Amayama was doing a better job in making sure the part was available before accepting orders ~ now we often get that same run around cancel crud...

It seems there might be a chance of getting these interior dome might LENS covers from MEGAZIP..? If it were me; I would order more than just one each (see the Amayama reply about UAE warehouse of individual orders)

    My messages to/from Amayama

They cancelled my order saying the Light LENS was "out of stock" in Japanese warehouse

Amayama Trading Co. Ltd.Sun, Oct 27, 4:34 PM (7 days ago)
Hi! Your order #12008004 is out of stock at the supplier. A refund will be provided within 2 business days. Apologies for any inconvenience.

You just received the message from Amayama Trading Co. Ltd.:
    Order #12008004
    Hello,
This order was cancelled with the status "Delivery term unknown".
The suppliers will not accept order with this status as there is no schedule to produce that the part number again. Once the manufacturer schedules another production run, they will start accepting orders again. It's not possible to estimate when that will happen as production depends solely on fluctuating demand.

    George (xboxrox)
Including UAE warehouse..? After any Israel resolution perhaps UAE would ship this item (unless your inventory check included UAE. ?) Thank you for any extra clarification...

You just received the message from Amayama Trading Co. Ltd.:
For individual orders, availability checks for parts supplied from the UAE are not accepted.
Parts from the UAE sell out from the the time the availability check is requested, to the time the results of the availability check are received and then uploaded to the Amayama database.
For this reason parts from the UAE are not guaranteed available even after a general availability check. All we can suggest is to order parts from Japan with a considerably higher chance of availability.

Removed those duplicates for ya, not sure what happened there. Maybe if nothing seemed to happen when you hit the Post button, so then you clicked it again, that may have actually submitted the same post multiple times?
