ECU is cooked, like burnt, maybe caught on fire.
Anyway, with research I have discovered IAC (Idle air control) valve can cause issues with the ECU. I already replaced the IAC with the black one while rebuilding top end of engine.
Can the ECU mess up the IAC valve? I have given it like 6 miles and idled it for maybe an hour total after replacing the IAC. Just don't want to blow up another ECU.

You are all good to go with the new IAC. Just make sure you ordered the correct part number. I've seen people order one that fits, but the incorrect part number and they fried their ECU.

Thanks. I want to do a MIVEC swap but programming and tuning scares me. I have ZERO experience and knowledge.

That's where most of us start. Lots of good reading out there. If you have time hop on 3SI and browse threads regarding flash tune, or chrome. Its a bit of a read, but most all of the steps to tuning are found there.
