    Gen 1 4x4 brake swap?

ive done a bit of looking and all the info on brake interchange seems to be between 2wd trucks. For us 1st gen 4x4 guys what is there? Are the calipers swappable between 4x4 2nd to 1st gen? I have a caliper seized up and the entire front end of my truck in pieces, i'd like to put it back together nicer than it was before, the braking always left something to be desired with the 31" coopers i run on mine. Can i use the brake booster/master cylinder out of a new truck also? Mine is an 84, and the reservoirs are starting to disintegrate somewhat id like to bring the whole system up a decade at least.

I think in the archive board there is a thread about doing the swap. You can find the archive in the archive tab at the top of the page.
