messed up lights help!!

Postby leonwold » Tue Sep 28, 2010 11:55 am

hey guys, after i let my 2nd gen sit for about 6 months, i insured it again and now the lights are screwy. when you step on the brakes, it very faintly lights up the hazard indicators. and when the headlights are turned on, the signals work backwards and the brake lights trade places with the signal lights and the backup lights stop working. any ideas?? the headlights and front signals still work fine

That is a ground wire that is causing this. Check all the grounds. Look in the rear first. Pull the wires off the frame and clean them/ Working your way forward. I would guess you will find a bad wire in the rear.
Let us know what you find and if you can take some pictures for us...
