naw, the only thing that a chip does better(IMO) is remove the limiter and higher end cards will do better with altitude changes... i say either stay stock or get a tuner like DSMlink.

that bugatti isn't a mitsubishi, or even asian..
if you really want to go that fast just get a bike... for less than what the turbo setup on that costs...

Ya but I would love to have 2 of them. One to keep all nice and the other to just thrash the shit out of. Now here is the F1 VS Bugatti. It's funny..

How many mile per gall are you getting right now? I get around 16 in my 2.6 it's got a weber carb. If you are fuel injected then new injectors are the best bet or a good cleaning of them. If you are carb you are just stuck with what you get. Air the tires and check to make sure the choke works corectly. You could re-jet the carb down but then you loose power. It's a give and take thing. The age of the engine makes a diferance. Fuel injection a chip can make a mile or two but don't expect much more. If you try and drive no more then 55 mph instead of 65mph that will add about 15 - 25 miles to a tank. Speed is the largest factor to fuel millage, and it don't cost anything except your time.

I get somewhere in the 15mpg range as well... Does anyone recommend a KN air filter or is that just a waste of money? Also would a guy getting better mileage with or without a topper?

K&N filter won't hurt. On my truck if I treat it with the oil they they come with it would run rich. So I just leave it dry. The topper you are asking about is that a camper shell? The lighter a car the less power it takes to make it go down the road. Just pull it off and drive it for a week and check your milage. I would drive around with the tail gate down on mine. I don't realy know if that did help or not. My truck had a shell for years then once I pulled it off I never went back. It was just eayser to load with out it. In the "manuals" area there is a first gen factory manual that gives you a flow chart to go down with fuel millage problems. Take a look and see if there is anything there that might help you. http://mightyram50.com/phpBB3/manuals-and-source-info-f49.html

Yeah the topper is level with the top of the cab at the front then has the part at the back that rises up higher then the rest... I think ill try pulling it off and then maybe buy one of those cheap flow through net things for a tailgate...? See if that helps me out...

In my state we have some interesting truck laws. One of which includes us not needing a tailgate as long as something is there to hold the cargo. So technically, if the truck bed is empty here, I would be able to remove the tailgate if a rope goes from one side of the bed to the other side. We don't need a net if we don't want one. You should check up your your local truck laws. I'm not saying to run a rope instead of the tailgate though.
