Found a MM/D50 at the yard, parts anyone?

Postby TurboMax » Thu Oct 22, 2009 12:10 pm

I found a V6 MM/D50 at the salvage yard. It's a "cash 4 clucker" so the motor is shot, but it still has alot of good parts.

It still has the TACH cluster, too. I took the clutch pedal and rear fender flares. It was only missing drv. side mirror, bench seat, and wheels, otherwise everything else seems to be there. I'm not sure if I want to cut up the rear fender flares i got to fit my custom rocker panels yet. If the price is right, I may go back and grab the front fender flares and sell the complete set.

If anyone is interested in the TACH cluster or any other parts let me know and I can call them a get a quote. This yard is typically higher then some of the others, but its the only one that usually has a MM/D50 around here.

Can you take pictures of the clutch pedal? I would really love to see what one looks like. I will beg you if necessary.
Let me know.

The salvage yard wants $40 for clusters, unfortunately my brother says the truck is no longer in the yard. With all the C4C coming in, they've been crushing them quickly.

It looks like I'll be heading back to the salavage yard sometime next week. I'll check if it's there or try to find another one. They had alot of other C4C they had not processed yet.

Hey man, I been hunting some flares, even considering modifying some Bushwackers to fit, if I can find something close enough to start with. Someone mentioned Cherokees are pretty close.

Let me know what ya think, and if ya still have the black flares I might be interested in full set???

Sorry, the truck was crushed around Nov. before I could get more parts.

I was at the yard about week ago. They expanded the yard and added alot more cars, but unfortunately there were NO MM/D50 to be found. :(
