on my 2.6 engine i noticed you can adjust the rocker arms and was wondering the fact that u cant adjust them an they are no where near what they are suppose to be would that mean the valves are warped or burnt. the book said .010 but i am able to fit a .025 between them

then you have hydraulic lifters like mine ... they live kinda inside the rocker above the top of the spring ... are all of them the same tolerence? i didn't bother to check mine when i changed my broken one ... then again i didn't even bother to torque down the hold downs lol "seems about as tight as it was when I took it off" lol :)
