I'm currently in upstate NY but retain legal residence in Central Maryland. Getting by working for a union in Baltimore when my "seniority" is high enough but really looking for something more stable. My grandfather bought a base MM new back in 86 and gave it to me in 04. It has been the best vehicle I have ever owned despite its problems. It took just 1 winter in NY state to start the rust and now it's starting to threaten my truck. I'm not very mechanically inclined but I do my best to keep this thing running. about to attempt a fuel filter change and replace the seats which I'm sure will take extensive fabrication as its hard to find these things up here.
I go by easy going on other sites .I am a Barber in the Hi desert of SoCa and have a 83 turbo diesel Sport D50 that has been through the Mill several times but I keep resurrecting it and really enjoy driving it. I am in the process of the latest resurrection at the present time do to being T-boned last week. Looking for info as to the Value for Insurance pay out as it is considered a total. Any thoughts?
Hi, I 'm Sharpm,Been a Ram 50 owner for 10 years. Started out with an 88 2wd thats still going , and picked up an 89 4wd over the winter that needs some restoration. I'm in Ontario, Canada where we salt the roads in the winter making it a challenge to keep older vehicles looking decent. Just put a new cylinder head on the 88....should be good for another 300,000 now
