Well, I don't know if I need them or not but I just bought a set of new glow plugs for my 4d55 from the english ebay: www.ebay.co.uk for $7.50 per plug shipped to my door in az. I don't know if this is a good deal but it sure seems like it. I jumped on it and will figure out later if I actually need them. he has more too. his auction is a 'buy it now' auction. Here's the auction title: Mitsubishi L300 2.3D (4D55 & 4D56) Glow Plugs LGP129

it is real easy to test your glow plugs. use a volt ohm meter. and they should have continuity. if not they are bad. you can find those in the us as well. but most likely it is your dropping resistor or your relay group on the drivers side inner fender check and see of those close after you turn your key on.
