my 2g says 7/8" on the side. I would imagine the 1g is in that area.

7/8 15/16 there is 2 diferant sizes in side. Front cup will be bigger than rear. Un less there is no cup. All the new cars just use an "O" ring.

My old and new master cylinder had 15/16" on it, when I replaced about a month ago. I've got a 1990 2g. If I remember correctly, autozone listed 90-91 for my master cylinder and a different part number for 92-96.
