From what i remember the (at least for the 1st Gen D50's anyway) Delayed/Intermitent Wiper equipped trucks have a Different Wiring Harness with an additional plug, Different Wiper Motor & the Wiper Stalk/Arm
You can run a 2-Speed Wiper Motor on a Truck that was equipped with Delayed Wipers (plug n play), but not vice versa, at least without tearing into the wiring harness and steering collumn. My '84 and '85 both had Delayed Wipers (Sport optioned trucks) But when i replaced the Cab on my '84 i never got around to reinstalling the original Wiper Motor (so i'm stuck with 2-Speeds), same thing with my '85. I need to do some digging in the other garage and find those motors.
The Delay/Intermitent Wiper Motor uses Two 4-Pin/Wire (8 wires total) Plugs, where the 2-Speed Wiper Motor just uses One 4-Pin/Wire Plug
